WE WERE GIVEN A TASK TO GO ONTO SOUNDCLOUD AND FIND A RANGE OF CHILDRENS STORIES IN THE FORM OF AUDIOBOOKS. WE HAD TO CHOOSE AT LEAST FIVE AND SAY WHAT ASPECTS THEY USED AND HOW EFFECTIVE THEY WERE. i chose a few roald dahl books as they are prime examples of effective books which have been transferred into a digital form.

 

many of the aspects which were used  in these audiobooks can be applied to my own. it is obvious that i need to be clear and have no background noise as it effects the emmersiveness of the story. the use of multiple voices for different charcters is defintely something ill use as then the story flows and is not monotone.

 

the recording equipment needs to pick up in a certain place like a shotgun microphone does that way the sound will be a lot more clearer and wont be faded out by any other noises. a simple story with little chasracters would be the best choice to choose then that way the voices would stay consistent and so would the narrative.
