PROS AND CONS OF FRIGHTFEST

we have done a horror film before so it will be easier as we know more codes and conventions of the genre.

we have also planned and writen a script for a horror film which could be recylced or changed to make the film better.

the cons of doing a horro film would be that a lot of effort has to go into the pre production to make the film stand out and to be effective as a horror film.

if we dont make it scary then it will come under a sub genre.
the pros of doing a film from the east end film festival are:

we can make an idea around what wea re given

we do not know the requirements of the festival
some of the content we have not filmed before
it would be difficult to make a film without the right tools
the pros and cons of doing the channel 4 shorts are:

we could easily make an idea and a topic to film
films can be made individually
most content can be submitted
cons
some content is filterd blockign creativity with some subjects.
locations which are ideal to film in are far away and not nearby.
