WALL-E SOUND ANALYSIS
In our first lesson back we were intRoduced to the Conventions of making sounds in film, and TO USE SOME OF THE SOUNDS TO INSPIRE US to use SOUND EFFECTS. THE FILM WE LOOKED AT WAS WALL-E.
ALTHOUGH THE FILM IS ANIMATED THE SOUNDS ARE MAN MADE WITH SOME CHANGES ADDED TO THE SOUND TO MAKE THEM SUIT WHAT THEY WERE BEING USED FOR. BEN BURTT WHO WAS INVOLVED IN THE SOUNDS FOR THE ORIGINAL STAR WARS TRILOGY WAS INVOLVED IN MAKING THE SOUNDS FOR THE FILM , ALSO JIMMY MACDONALD WHO WAS AN INNOVATOR IN THE EARLY DISNEY YEARS FOR MAKING SOUNDS WAS INVOLVED.

THIS IS JIMMY MACDONALD AND HIS AMAZING FACIAL HAIR.

Ben burtt IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SOUNDS LIKE TIE FIGHTERS FLYING AND THE STAR WARS LAZERS.

the sounds used in wall-e use the same effects as old disney films do just more up to date. the voices were actors which had their voices distorted to make them sound like the characters they were designed for. other sounds were made using normal everyday noises.
many of the sounds in the film were made with actual machines whcih were designed for that sound or with practical sound.
