SHOT TYPES EVALUATION

 Pre production:

Our task was to film as many shot types as we could with the equipment given and in the time space also we had to film a variety of shots.

Production:

Our filming took us under 45 minutes and we filmed all of the shots including two shot over the shoulder shot and shot reverse shot. My group was good with the equipment and we all knew what to do and how to use the camera and all of the other equipment. We made our own scene ideas and tried to be creative with what we were doing. We filmed our shot types across the road at campus west roundabout and used the buildings around for things such as panoramic shots and establishing shot. There were some issues as we had people walking into shot a lot of the time so we had to re-record and also we had to re shoot as we kept laughing. It was hard finding a place to film as we had a lot of glare and also the cameras were on slants most of the time. This was not good as if it was windy the equipment could fall or be damaged.

Post production:

In the editing process I had issues as my hard drive wasn’t working and the editing software was being funny and it kept corrupting. As my knowledge of premier pro is limited I found it hard to edit but I did the rolling credits and also the shot types and I added music. This took me a long time as I had to look through the internet to find out how to add these features. The rest of my groups edits were different to mine as we all used different music and fonts for our shot types and different themes for our credits.
